How Torp IT creates digital flow and efficiency on the construction site

How can digital tools be used on the construction site to make the building process more efficient and predictable – for management and crew alike? On the Torp IT construction project in Sandefjord, Betonmast has adopted innregistrering.no to ensure smooth onboarding and training. So far they have completed more than 120 onboardings, and the result is clearer structure in everyday work and better flow on site.

Betonmast is building Torp IT, a new office building in Sandefjord. The project started in October 2024 and is scheduled for handover on 1 October 2025. Progress is good and the project is on schedule.

As part of the workflow, the project organisation chose to use innregistrering.no to handle onboarding and project-specific training. More than 120 people have been onboarded through the solution so far, and according to site manager Truls Dahl Wiese the system works very well in practice. At start-up meetings it is made clear that the crew must be registered before they arrive – if not, registration has to be completed on site before they are given access to the construction site.

The solution is experienced as user-friendly and seamless, both for the project team and for those working on site. This creates a more structured start for everyone involved and reduces the risk of misunderstandings – especially important on a workplace with many trades and languages at work.
